Columbus, MS dentist Dr. Patrick Shipp enjoys educating his patients and talking about how they can best take care of their oral health. We never want you to feel rushed; instead, we want to make sure your questions are answered so you fully understand why specific treatments might be recommended.

We are a premier provider for Delta Dental, and we will happily file claims with other insurance companies, even if we are not a provider. We have found that we can get better reimbursements for our patients by filing the claim ourselves. We want to do whatever we can to ensure you get the maximum out of the dental insurance benefits you paid for!

Because getting needed dental treatment shouldn’t be put off because of finances, we are pleased to offer other payment options as well. We accept cash, checks, and credit and debit cards.

Third-Party Financing

We also offer third-party financing through CareCredit. You can apply online and receive a credit decision in just a few minutes. CareCredit provides no- and low-cost interest rates to pay for your dental and other medical treatment needs. Your entire family is eligible to use CareCredit for their treatment needs as well, and you do not have to re-apply. CareCredit is a great way to make dental and medical expenses affordable because you can make a monthly payment that fits your budget. We don’t want you to put off needed treatment, and CareCredit means you do not have to.

Some dental insurance plans will cover preventive and diagnostic care at 100 percent or close to it. Often, additional services will be covered at discounted rates.

When you are a patient at our office, we will work with you and your insurance company to ensure you get the most benefit out of your dental insurance coverage. We will be upfront about treatment costs so you can take into account your insurance coverage as well as your out-of-pocket expenses.

We are pleased to be a premier provider for Delta Dental. If you have specific questions about Delta Dental, we invite you to give us a call.

We will also bill other insurance companies and do our best to help you maximize your benefits. Please note, however, that we do not take Medicaid.

Because we don’t want our patients to put off needed treatment for the sake of finances, we are pleased to accept third-party financing options with CareCredit. The application process is easy and quick, and you’ll have a decision in just moments. You can use CareCredit for your entire family; no re-application is necessary. CareCredit offers an affordable way to spread out the cost of treatment so you can make monthly payments that fit within your budget.

In response to the ADA and CDC recommendations regarding the COVID-19 virus, the Mississippi State Board of Dental Examiners has mandated that all dental practices in the state cease all non-emergent dental care.
