Dental Insurance and Payment Options

Financing Your Care

We know that finances are often a concern for our patients. Dr. Shipp wants to ensure that all of our patients receive the dental care they need to achieve a healthy and beautiful smile, and this is why we offer several convenient payment options and even third-party financing with CareCredit if you’re looking for affordable monthly payments.

In addition to being a premier provider for Delta Dental, we accept several different types of payments. We never want you to wait on getting the dental treatment you need and deserve!

Dental Insurance Plans:

We are happy to file all dental insurances as a service to our patients. If you chose to file dental insurance, the estimated patient portions will be due on the date of service. Once your insurance is filed, a statement will be sent to you with the remaining balance. If your insurance has not paid within 90 days from the date of service, the balance will become your responsibility. Please note, patients that receive a check from their insurance company will be required to pay the full amount on the day of service. It is your responsibility to ensure the dental insurance we have on file is accurate.

We are a premier provider for Delta Dental and out-of-network with all other insurance plans. We will, however, bill other insurance companies (other than Medicaid) and do what we can to get the best reimbursement for our patients.

If you have questions about your insurance benefits, be sure to contact one of our front desk staff members.

Payment options:

  • Cash or Check: Always accepted.
  • Credit Card: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express.
  • CareCredit: Apply online (www.carecredit.com) or in our office.

Please note: Payment is due at the time of service.

As a courtesy to you, we will bill your insurance company and track claims. Please keep us informed of any changes to your insurance plan. You are responsible for the fees charged by our office, no matter what your insurance coverage may be. Most insurance companies should respond to the claim within four to six weeks. Any remaining cost is your responsibility.
